DIGI FARMERS LIMITED (DFarmers) is an Agri-fintech company that helps farmers gain access to finance, quality inputs, and markets.
In Bangladesh, nearly 20 million farmers lack access to finance, making it difficult for them to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods. DFarmers aims to solve this problem by offering investment and guidance to smallholder farmers who cannot access formal financing elsewhere. We provide the necessary financing to farmers in the form of quality agricultural inputs, such as seeds, fertilizers, and tools, which help improve their productivity and crop yields.
In addition to financial support, DFarmers also provides farmers with access to markets. This means that once the harvest is ready, we ensure that the farmers can sell their products through DFarmers, guaranteeing them fair prices for their goods. We make sure that every project we support is insured, monitored, and regularly scrutinized to maintain transparency and accountability.
Our profit-sharing model is designed to ensure that both farmers and financiers benefit fairly from the success of the agricultural projects. Farmers receive a share of the profits from their harvest, while financiers also earn a return on their investment. This model incentivizes all parties to work together towards successful outcomes and ensures adherence to religious (Halal Income) standards, making the process both profitable and ethical.
